The BKK Hyperlatch Quad Urchin Hook is engineered specifically for rigging urchin-style soft baits while keeping them centered, secure, and properly positioned. Its dual-wire locking system passes through the middle of the bait and holds it firmly along the hook’s central axis. This approach reduces damage to soft plastics while helping prevent the bait from slipping, twisting, or being thrown from the hook during long casts, sharp rod movements, or aggressive strikes.

Keeping the bait centered also allows all four hook points to remain evenly spaced around its 360-degree profile. This balanced configuration maintains a natural falling action while providing exposed hook points from multiple strike angles, increasing the opportunity for solid hook-ups.

The center-through keeper places less stress on the soft plastic than many conventional rigging methods, helping extend bait life and reduce the need for frequent re-rigging. It also helps limit unwanted line twist while keeping the presentation consistent.
